Walkolution wins the famed International Design Award IDA 2020

- The International Design Awards (IDA) recognize, celebrate and promote legendary design visionaries and to uncover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design.

- Walkolution GmbH, Germany  is delighted to share that its treadmill desk series has been granted the renowned Gold International Design Award 2020 in the category "Home Interior Products and Interior Furniture".

 

Munich January 28th, 2021

Walkolution, the Munich-based startup developing a revolutionary treadmill desk for work use, has been awarded one of the world’s most prestigious design accolades for its work on the Walkolution treadmill desk. 


The Walkolution manual treadmill desk, a sustainable manufactured walking treadmill with an integrated desk, was selected  by the International Design Award organization in its 2020 competition. 

The award comes just a few months after Walkolution received the prestigious  German Design Award 2021.

The International Design Award is a prestigious award given to top 5% percentile designs that has accomplished an exemplary level of originality in design. Entries to the International Design Awards are peer reviewed and anonymously judged by a grand jury panel of leading academics, influential press members and established professionals. Nominated furniture designs are voted on pre-determined evaluation criteria to highlight only the best furniture design works. In addition to reaching top international media, IDA winners are listed and highlighted at the IDA online archives and are showcased in media outlets across the globe which lists the best designs from all countries in all disciplines.
